Wall Area Calculation

Formula: (Perimeter × Height) - Openings = Wall Area

Example (12' × 14' room, 8' ceilings):

  • Perimeter: (12 + 14) × 2 = 52 feet

  • Openings: 1 window (12 sq ft) + 1 door (20 sq ft) = 32 sq ft

Ceiling Area Calculation

Formula: Length × Width = Ceiling Area

Example: 12' × 14' = 168 sq ft

Sheet Calculation

Formula: Total Area ÷ Sheet Size = Sheets Needed
